All types of hoist require major inspections similar to the requirements for cranes. These inspections are generally needed when the hoist reaches 10 years of age and then every 5 to 10 years thereafter.
Our inspection covers the entire hoist or lift from top to bottom, checking not only the structural integrity of the hoist but also its mechanical components.
As part of the inspection we complete an end of design life calculation to confirm the actual usage of the equipment has not exceeded its design life and by doing so confirming it is safe for continued safe use.
